Schools Yorkshire Tour
This week 6 children took part in the Schools Yorkshire Tour. We were extremely privileged to be invited to take part in this exciting event. The Schools’ Yorkshire Tour is a large scale cycle
baton relay aimed at primary, secondary and SEND schools across Yorkshire. The aim of the Schools’ Yorkshire Tour is to encourage more young people to take up cycling, promoting
cycling as a fun, every day method of transport. All the children across school came outside to cheer the riders on! Ms Martin and Mrs Suter also took part in the event.
After watching the children set off on the Tour de Yorkshire,Reception and Nursery made their own Tour de Haxby outside! They took it in turns to race each other and timed each race to see
who was the fastest! 🚴♀️🏅🚴♂️
