Remembrance Day

We have been learning all about why we commemorate Remembrance Day. We have learnt about the sacrifices made by brave young people, who risked and sometimes gave their lives in war, so that we may live in peace.
Haxby Primary Academy Primary held a Remembrance Day zoom call where they discussed the day and remembered the people who had died in the Wars during the 2 minute silence. As part of our commemorations, the children in school have created some wonderful art work.
