Haxby Road News 9.9.2019
A message from the Head of School…
Welcome Back! I hope you have had an enjoyable summer. The children have certainly had many exciting stories to share. Welcome to our new Early Years children and their families who
are settling in really well. We wish all our new families a special Haxby Road welcome, and we hope they will continue to enjoy their time at Haxby Road Academy. We look forward to working
with you.We also welcome our new teacher, Mrs Gilmour, who will be teaching in Reception and Mrs McCartney our new music teacher. We wish them a warm welcome into our school
community. I know you will continue to work with us, so your child can grow in confidence, with a love of learning, and a determination to be the best person they can be. Everyone in school will do everything they can to help your child to do their best. Please let us know if we can support you in any way. Remember we operate an opendoor policy – feel free to book an appointment with your child’s class teacher or our wellbeing and safeguarding team if you have concerns or need support, help or advice. We are always happy to help.

Or do your health requirements affect your diet? Are you in need of some new inspiration? They hope that by analysing the shopping habits of UK families, they can help to show where we can source the best and cheapest quality food.
